07 August, 2025 11:10

Three Pakistani soldiers were martyred and four terrorists killed in an attack by India-backed militants in the Mastung district of Balochistan.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the night between August 5 and 6, terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group “Fitna Al-Hindustan” targeted a security forces vehicle using an improvised explosive device (IED) in Mastung.

As a result of the attack, three brave soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom in the line of duty.

The ISPR stated that Major Muhammad Rizwan Tahir, Naik Ibn-e-Ameen, and Lance Naik Muhammad Younis were martyred in the attack. Major Rizwan was described as a courageous officer who actively participated in several counter-terrorism operations and always led his troops from the front.

Following the incident, security forces launched an operation in the area, during which four India-backed terrorists were killed. A clearance operation is ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.

The military spokesperson affirmed that the Pakistan Army is fully committed to eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism, and the sacrifices of its brave soldiers further strengthen this resolve.
