3 Pakistani Soldiers Martyred, 4 India-Backed Terrorists Killed in Mastung Attack
Three Pakistani soldiers were martyred and four terrorists killed in an attack by India-backed militants in the Mastung district of Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the night between August 5 and 6, terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group “Fitna Al-Hindustan” targeted a security forces vehicle using an improvised explosive device (IED) in Mastung.
As a result of the attack, three brave soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom in the line of duty.
The ISPR stated that Major Muhammad Rizwan Tahir, Naik Ibn-e-Ameen, and Lance Naik Muhammad Younis were martyred in the attack. Major Rizwan was described as a courageous officer who actively participated in several counter-terrorism operations and always led his troops from the front.
Following the incident, security forces launched an operation in the area, during which four India-backed terrorists were killed. A clearance operation is ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.
The military spokesperson affirmed that the Pakistan Army is fully committed to eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism, and the sacrifices of its brave soldiers further strengthen this resolve.
