Punjab Govt Launches 2,000 Internships with Rs60,000 Stipend – Apply Before August 15
The Punjab government has launched a special internship program aimed at agriculture graduates, reflecting its commitment to youth empowerment and the growth of the agricultural sector.
As part of the initiative introduced by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, 2,000 graduates will be offered internships, combining practical training with financial assistance to prepare them for careers in agriculture.
Stipend & Training
Each selected intern will receive a monthly stipend of Rs60,000, with the program focusing on bridging the gap between academic learning and on-ground experience. The goal is to equip young professionals with the skills needed to contribute effectively to the province’s agricultural progress.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture Sciences or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Candidates must also be under 25 years of age on the application closing date.
Application Process & Deadline
The last date to apply is August 15, 2025. Interested applicants need to submit a hard copy of their application, certified academic documents, CNIC, domicile, and two recent passport-size photographs to the Director Agriculture (Extension) in their respective districts.
The Punjab Agriculture Department will manage the program and has set up a helpline (0800-17000) for queries. Applications will be accepted between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
