PM Shehbaz Meets Bilawal Bhutto for Condolence Visit

Islamabad – Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif met with Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to receive condolences on the passing of his cousin, Mian Shahid Shafi.

Bilawal was accompanied by Senator Sherry Rehman and MNA Asifa Bhutto Zardari. During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto expressed deep sorrow and offered prayers for the departed soul, asking Allah for the elevation of his ranks and patience for the grieving family.

Bilawal also contacted the elder brother of the deceased, Javed Shafi, over the phone to express his condolences personally.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised Pakistan’s security forces for successfully eliminating 33 terrorists linked to the Indian-backed group “Fitna al-Khawarij” in the Zhob district of Balochistan.

In a statement, the Prime Minister said the soldiers put their lives at risk to stop a major infiltration attempt. “Our brave forces crushed the evil plans of the terrorists,” he said, adding that the entire nation stands united with the security forces in the fight against terrorism.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s strong resolve to eliminate terrorism from the country completely.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also congratulated the forces on their timely and effective operation. “By killing 33 terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan, the security forces have achieved a big success,” he said.
