Govt Shouldn’t Fear PTI Founder Children: Imran Ismail

Islamabad – Former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has said the government is unnecessarily afraid of  PTI founder Imran Khan’s children, even though it has already been announced they will not take part in politics.

Speaking in a TV program, Imran Ismail said, “The government should not fear them. Even if they come to Pakistan, they will not enter politics.”

He strongly criticized the current PTI leadership, calling it incompetent. “The current PTI leadership wants Imran Khan to stay in jail so they can continue enjoying power,” he claimed.

Imran Ismail also admitted that the PTI had support from the establishment during the 2018 elections. “Yes, the establishment helped form the government in 2018. We must learn from the past,” he said.

He added that PTI should remain in contact with the establishment. “Without dialogue, we cannot move forward,” he noted.

In a surprising revelation, he said, “During our government, we filed a completely false drugs case against Rana Sanaullah.”

He accused some current PTI leaders of secretly maintaining ties with the government and acting in self-interest rather than in Imran Khan’s favor.
