Shah Rukh Khan Introduces Aryan Khan As Director At ‘The Ba**ds Of Bollywood’ Preview Launch

The preview of Netflix’s upcoming web series The Ba**ds Of Bollywood* was unveiled today at a grand launch event in Mumbai. The series is special as it marks Aryan Khan’s debut as a writer and director, with Lakshya and Sahher Bambba in lead roles.

The highlight of the evening came when Shah Rukh Khan introduced his son Aryan Khan to the audience for the very first time. SRK proudly said, “Ladies and gentleman, I am going to call on stage the creator and the director of The Ba**ds Of Bollywood – Aryan Khan.”*

Aryan walked on stage with confidence and was warmly greeted by his father with a kiss on the cheek. Folding his hands in a Namaste, he addressed the audience in Hindi, saying, “Aaj main bohat nervous hoon kyunki aaj main pehli baar sab ke saamne stage par aaya hoon. Aur isliye do din aur teen raaton se main yeh speech baar baar lagatar practice kiye ja raha hoon. In fact, main itna nervous hoon ki mere dad teleprompter pe bhi likhwate rahe hain. Aur just in case yahan ki bijli chali jaye, main ek kaagaz ke tukde par bhi likh kar laya hoon… torch ke saath.”

Adding humor, Aryan continued, “Aur agar tab bhi mujhse mistake ho jaye, toh papa hai na!” pointing towards SRK, who had cheekily stuck Aryan’s speech on a paper placed on his back.

Concluding his address, Aryan humbly said, “Aur ab is sab ke baad bhi mujhse galti ho jaye, mujhe please maaf kar dena. Yeh mera first time hai.” His heartfelt words received a round of applause from the audience.

The Ba**ds Of Bollywood* is set to premiere on Netflix from September 18.
