Rajab Butt Speaks Out in Support of Ducky Bhai After YouTuber’s Arrest for Promoting Online Betting

Pakistan’s prominent YouTuber Rajab Butt has spoken out regarding the recent arrest of Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, questioning why the law is not applied equally to all.

Once close friends, Rajab Butt and Ducky Bhai were frequently seen in each other’s videos and family gatherings. However, their friendship ended following a dispute over a project and remarks involving their mutual acquaintance, Nadeem Nani Wala, after which the two stopped communicating altogether.

Ducky Bhai was arrested last week by law enforcement agencies on allegations of promoting online betting applications. He was placed on physical remand in police custody, and Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo later extended the remand by four more days to allow further investigation.

Speaking on the matter, Rajab Butt stressed that the law should be enforced uniformly. He highlighted that betting app logos appeared on PSL jerseys and their advertisements were broadcast on national television, yet no action was taken against larger institutions.

He further pointed out that hundreds of influencers have promoted similar apps, but action has been directed only against a few individuals considered “easy targets.”

Despite his differences with Ducky Bhai, Rajab Butt conveyed his good wishes for him and his family, expressing sympathy during this challenging time.
