Additionally, MoUs were signed between the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad and the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies, as well as the Pakistan-Bangladesh Trade Joint Working Group.

Prior to the signings, delegations from both countries held discussions, agreeing to strengthen bilateral relations and promote economic and trade cooperation.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation-level talks in Dhaka covered bilateral ties, trade and economic collaboration, and regional issues.

Discussions also focused on enhancing high-level and people-to-people contacts, cultural exchanges, educational initiatives, capacity building, and humanitarian cooperation. Both sides emphasized reviving SAARC, resolving the Palestine issue, and addressing the Rohingya crisis.

Bangladesh’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Touhid Hossain, hosted a luncheon in honor of Ishaq Dar on the occasion.
