Locals Praise Pakistan Army for Timely Flood Relief in Ghizer
Islamabad: The Pakistan Army is carrying out urgent relief operations for flood victims in the Ghizer district. Severe flooding, caused by a glacier burst, has created serious difficulties for the local population.
On the special instructions of the Chief of Army Staff, the Force Command Northern Areas (FCNA) has established immediate relief and medical camps in the affected areas.
In this regard, medical camps have been set up in Thalidas and Roshannama villages. So far, more than 600 patients have received medical treatment, while rations and tents have been distributed among flood-affected families.
Pakistan Army personnel are not only providing relief but are also working day and night to ensure the complete rehabilitation of the victims.
The people of the region have paid great tribute to the Army for this timely and practical support.
The Pakistan Army has reaffirmed its commitment to stand by the people in every hour of trial.
