World Athletics Championship: Arshad Nadeem Vows to Give Best Performance Against Neeraj Chopra Today

The qualifying round for the javelin throw at the World Athletics Championship is scheduled for today, featuring top athletes including Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem and India’s Neeraj Chopra, alongside competitors from Germany and other nations.

Arshad Nadeem has been placed in Group B, with his attempts set to begin after 4:00 PM Pakistan time. His group also includes two Indian javelin throwers, Rohit Yadav and Yashveer Singh, as well as world number three Anderson Peters, Julius Yego, and Luis Mauricio Da Silva. Neeraj Chopra will compete in a separate group.

The qualifying event will officially start at 4:45 PM Pakistan time. Athletes who achieve a throw of 84.50 meters or more will secure direct qualification for the final round. The top eight performers from the qualifiers will advance to the final, which is scheduled for tomorrow.

Arshad Nadeem, determined to bring glory to Pakistan once again, has issued a message to his supporters. He requested the nation’s prayers, recalling the overwhelming support he received during the Paris Olympics. Nadeem expressed confidence in his preparation and vowed to give his best performance to make Pakistan proud.
