US Navy Ship USS Wayne E. Meyer Arrives at Karachi Port

Karachi: The U.S. Navy ship USS Wayne E. Meyer has arrived at Karachi Port on a two-day visit.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the ship was received at the port by senior officials of the Pakistan Navy and members of the U.S. diplomatic staff.

ISPR stated that the purpose of the visit is to promote professional relations between the two naval forces.

At the end of the visit, a joint exercise will be held between the U.S. Navy and the Pakistan Navy. The visit of the U.S. Navy ship will further strengthen joint efforts for peace in the region.
