Karachi Braces for Thunderstorms as Temperatures Soar

The weather in Karachi will remain hot and humid today, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). The current temperature in the city is 26°C, but it may feel as high as 32°C due to humidity.

The Met Office has forecast moderate rain with thunder and lightning during the evening and night hours. Sea breeze has completely stopped in the city, while winds from the north are blowing at a speed of 6 km/h.

The maximum temperature in Karachi could rise up to 39°C during the day. However, weather conditions are expected to return to normal from tomorrow.

In most districts of Sindh, partly cloudy skies are expected along with chances of dust storms and rain.
