UAE schools announce midterm holiday dates for first semester

Schools across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have announced the midterm break dates for the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year. The announcement was made according to the official academic calendar approved by the Ministry of Education.

According to a circular shared with parents and teaching staff, the midterm holidays for students will begin on Monday, October 13, and continue until Friday, October 17. Classes for all schools and grade levels will resume on Monday, October 20.

For teachers and administrative staff, the Ministry of Education has scheduled professional development programs from October 13 to 15. After that, they will have their midterm break from October 16 to 19.

This schedule aims to give both students and staff a balanced break while ensuring continued focus on educational goals throughout the semester.
