Three Palestinians murdered in Israeli Raid on Jenin Village

Three Palestinians were murdered early Tuesday during a large-scale Israeli military raid in the village of Kafr Qud, near Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

According to local reports, Israeli forces surrounded the home of a Palestinian family at dawn, triggering hours of clashes, gunfire, and explosions. Military bulldozers and armored vehicles were seen in the area as heavy fighting broke out.

Eyewitnesses said Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes targeting the besieged house, while snipers from Israel’s elite Yamam unit reportedly killed two resistance fighters. The operation resulted in the deaths of three Palestinians, though their identities were not immediately released.

Local sources described the raid as one of the most violent in recent weeks, adding that Israeli forces also fired tear gas and live ammunition, causing widespread panic among residents.

In separate overnight raids, Israeli forces detained at least 13 Palestinians in several West Bank cities, including Ramallah, al-Bireh, Hebron, and Tulkarm. Troops also stormed homes in Nablus, Deir Ballut, and al-Zawiya, while a young man was injured in al-Ram after being shot by Israeli soldiers.

Residents reported that occupation forces conducted house-to-house searches, detained Palestinian workers near Beit Lahm, and restricted movement in multiple areas.

The latest escalation follows weeks of intensified Israeli raids in the northern West Bank, particularly around Jenin, where military operations and aerial strikes have become increasingly frequent.
