US Possesses Nuclear Arsenal Capable of Destroying World 150 Times: Trump
Washington: US President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States possesses enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world 150 times over.
In an interview with an American television network, Trump said that countries like Pakistan, North Korea, Russia, and China are secretly conducting underground nuclear tests.
According to him, these tests are carried out so deep underground that they cause only minor tremors, making it difficult for the international community to detect them.
Trump said that while the United States does not wish to use nuclear weapons, it reserves the right to conduct tests to ensure the effectiveness and technological strength of its arsenal.
In response, China strongly rejected Trump’s claims, saying its nuclear policy has always been defensive in nature and that it is not involved in any aggressive nuclear activity.
Experts warn that Trump’s remarks could fuel global fears of a new nuclear arms race, increasing tensions among major world powers.
