Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari’s Film Gets Official Title “Yeh Prem Mol Liya”

Mumbai: After months of speculation, Sooraj Barjatya’s next romantic film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari has finally been titled “Yeh Prem Mol Liya.” The announcement comes as filming for the much-anticipated movie commenced on November 1, 2025.

The movie, earlier referred to as Prem Ki Shaadi, began its first week-long schedule in Kandivali. Reports suggest the schedule was a grand affair, featuring 200 background dancers for elaborate song and dance sequences. The new title was revealed when photographer Ravendra Singh Bhadauria shared a picture of the clapperboard on Instagram on November 6.

The production is planned to move to Mehboob Studios, where 80% of the film will be completed before shooting outdoor scenes. Filming is expected to conclude by January 2026 if everything proceeds as scheduled.

Cast and Crew

Bollywood veterans Anupam Kher, Seema Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak will play key roles in the film, adding depth to Barjatya’s signature family-oriented storytelling style. Rajshri Productions is producing the film in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films and Anita Gurnani.

Sources indicate that the reunion of Barjatya and Mahaveer Jain Films was inspired by the success of the 2022 hit Uunchai, which received critical and commercial acclaim.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s Recent Work

Ayushmann Khurrana, who plays the lead in Yeh Prem Mol Liya, was last seen in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe film Thamma alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Released during Diwali 2025, the film has already earned Rs. 163.24 crore worldwide at the box office.

Fans are excited about Barjatya’s return to romantic, family-centric cinema. With Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari leading the cast and the backing of seasoned actors and a grand production scale, Yeh Prem Mol Liya is expected to be one of the major Bollywood releases of early 2026.
