PSL 11 matches to be played in 5 cities under new format
The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) will take place from March 26 to May 3, 2026, featuring eight teams and a revised two-phase format over 39 days.
In the first phase, all eight teams will play in a single-league format, facing each other once. This will consist of 28 matches, ensuring every team meets the others at least once. Each team will play 10 matches in total, keeping consistency with previous editions.
The second phase will follow a Super Four-style stage. The eight teams will be split into two groups of four, with each team playing three matches in this round. This will make 12 matches in the second phase. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will include four matches, including the final, to determine the PSL 2026 champion.
Matches will be held in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and for the first time, Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad will host PSL games.
The PSL started in 2016 with five franchises, expanded to six teams in 2018, and now, PSL 11 will see two new teams join the league, making it the largest edition so far.
