The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced its updated player rankings, with Pakistan’s Saim Ayub rising to the top of the T20 all-rounders’ list.
According to the latest rankings, Saim Ayub has overtaken all competitors to secure the number-one position among T20 all-rounders, while Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz continues to hold fifth place in the same category.
In the Test batting rankings, Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel has improved his position by one place to move into ninth. England’s Joe Root has retained the top spot, followed by New Zealand’s Kane Williamson in second place and Australia’s Steve Smith in third.
The ICC bowling rankings show Australia’s Mitchell Starc climbing one position to second place. Pakistan’s Nauman Ali is placed fourth, while India’s Jasprit Bumrah continues to lead the bowlers’ rankings.
In the One Day International (ODI) batting rankings, India’s Rohit Sharma has maintained his position at the top, with Virat Kohli remaining second. Pakistan’s Babar Azam is currently ranked sixth.
The T20 batting rankings saw Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan slip one place to sixth. India’s Abhishek Sharma has held on to the number-one position, while his compatriot Tilak Varma advanced two spots to fourth. Babar Azam dropped one place to 31st in the T20 batters’ list.
In the T20 bowlers’ rankings, India’s Varun Chakravarthy continues to lead, while Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed is ranked fourth.
