Islamabad Traffic Police Issued Over 45,000 Challans in November 2025

Islamabad Traffic Police issued 45,923 challans in November 2025 for various traffic violations, according to details obtained by GTV News. During the month, fines worth Rs 38.885 crore were collected.

As part of enforcement operations, 5,279 vehicles and motorcycles were seized for violating traffic laws. These included 1,804 vehicles and 3,475 motorcycles.

The data further revealed that action was taken against 821 motorcyclists for double and triple riding, while 1,993 riders were challaned for riding without helmets. Authorities also took action against 58 motorcyclists for riding heavy bikes. In addition, 703 vehicles with tinted windows were challaned, and 268 challans were issued to vehicles without number plates.

Moreover, 3,681 vehicles were fined for using non-standard and fancy number plates, while legal action was taken against 35 vehicles emitting excessive smoke.
