Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic love triangle, Love & War, was originally set to release in 2025. However, due to the technical complexity and detailed nature of SLB’s production, the film was pushed to 2026. Recently, some outlets claimed that the film had been further delayed to 2027 due to filming issues. However, it has now been confirmed that the film will not face any further delays. An insider from the production assured HT that the movie has not been postponed to next year and will be released in 2026 as planned.

The report further states, citing a source, that a substantial portion of the film’s shoot is still pending. It also mentions that the use of heavy VFX and the editing of aerial action sequences require additional time, contributing to the 2026 release timeline.

What remains reassuring is that the film is still scheduled for a 2026 release, as originally planned, and many major and important sequences have already been shot. The source further revealed that SLB has recently completed a song shoot and that several key portions of the film are already ready.

The official release date has not yet been confirmed, though there is speculation that the film could release around Eid in March. However, no official confirmation has been made so far.

Love & War stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. In the historical romance, Ranbir and Vicky portray Indian Air Force officers. Unauthorised photos from the sets suggest a 1960s backdrop, while details of the storyline remain under wraps.
