Pooja Hegde’s Scandal, Pan-India Hero Proven False

Pooja Hegde recently became the center of social media buzz after a video purportedly showing her interview about an inappropriate incident involving a Star Hero early in her career went viral. The video, however, was unverified and sparked chaos as users tried to identify the actor in question.

Reports further claimed that she confronted the actor, slapped him, and later requested the filmmakers to avoid pairing her with him again, with some portions of the film allegedly completed using a body double.

Well-known industry tracker and trade analyst Ramesh Bala was among the first to formally debunk the story. Taking to his social media handle, Bala clarified that the interview being cited by various outlets never actually took place.

“Rumor Check: The so-called interview attributed to #PoojaHegde going around is 100% fake. Don’t share misleading content!” Bala posted on X, urging fans to exercise caution with unverified news.

Notably, Pooja Hegde has not made any recent interviews or public statements addressing the alleged incident. Despite the lack of comment from the actor, online discussions quickly escalated into fan wars, with users speculating about and blaming pan-India stars without any verified information.

She stars alongside Varun Dhawan in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, scheduled for release on June 5, 2026. In addition, she appears in DQ 41 alongside Dulquer Salmaan, adding another nationwide project to her slate.
