India Remains Silent as UN Deadline Passes for Indus Waters Treaty Response

India has chosen to remain silent regarding its actions under the Indus Waters Treaty, even as the United Nations’ designated deadline for a response has passed by 51 days. The UN had requested a reply from New Delhi on the treaty-related actions by 16 December 2025.
