The Pakistan Super League (PSL) entered a new era this week as the first-ever PSL player auction concluded at Lahore’s Expo Center. All franchises successfully finalised their squads ahead of PSL 11, which will begin on 26 March 2026.
The auction featured intense bidding. Both local stars and top international players attracted strong interest. Team strategies became clear as franchises focused on building balanced squads for the upcoming season.
This is the first time in PSL history that teams were formed through a full auction process. The move was aimed at increasing transparency, competitiveness, and global appeal.
