Iranian envoy condemns US-Israel strikes as “war crimes”

The Iranian envoy has issued a grave condemnation of the recent military escalation, reporting that numerous civilians have been martyred in U.S. and Israeli attacks across Iran. Specifically, the envoy highlighted a devastating strike on the city of Minab, where more than 100 children were reportedly martyred. He characterized these operations as a formal declaration of war and a serious violation of the UN Charter, labeling the actions as war crimes for which both the United States and Israel must be held responsible.

In a show of regional and international solidarity, the envoy noted that Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Pakistan have joined in condemning the attacks on Iranian territory. He further emphasized that under international law, Iran maintains a clear and undeniable right to self-defense in response to these aggressions.

Meanwhile, at the United Nations, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative, expressed his nation’s deep sorrow, stating that their thoughts are with the innocent schoolchildren killed during the strikes. In a separate development, a defiant post from Ayatollah Khamenei’s official account, titled “Ba Naam-e-Haider,” featured a verse referencing Prophet Moses and the legendary sword Zulfiqar. The translation of the Persian verse reads, “Tell Pharaoh that Moses is approaching the Nile… and Ali is entering the field with his Zulfiqar.”
