Pakistani actress Javeria Saud hit back at Fazila Qazi after the veteran star mocked Ramadan transmissions, saying, “the devil has become the host.”

The controversy began when Fazila Qazi shared a post on Instagram showing a picture of a devil hosting a Ramzan transmission. Alongside the image, she wrote, In Pakistan, the devil hasn’t been locked up; instead, he has become the host of Ramadan transmissions,”

Fazila further questioned regulatory oversight, asking, “Where is PEMRA? What kind of things are being said in Ramadan transmissions… we cross all limits for ratings!”

Currently, Javeria Saud hosting Ramazan transmission didn’t set back and smash Fazila Qazi’s mocking.

In the response, she advised Qazi’s criticism stemmed not from principle but from envy, asserting that the veteran actress had not been offered a hosting slot for any Ramzan transmission this year. She framed the critique as a case of “sour grapes.”

“In bechari ko moqa ni mila kisi transmission ko host karnay ka is lie shetan ki khala keh rahi hen k angoor khattay hen.”

Many social media users took side with Fazila Qazi and criticized Javeria Saud’s tone, while others pointed out that Fazila never mentioned any host by name in her original post.
