Regional countries urged to prevent US, Israel from using their territory against Iran

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has said that its recent military actions in the region are acts of self-defense. It also urged nearby countries to stop the United States and Israel from using their land against Iran.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said that international law does not allow any country to let its territory be used for attacks on another state.

He referred to the United Nations Charter and key resolutions. He said these rules clearly ban support for aggression from any country’s land or facilities.

Responsibility of Host Countries

Baghaei said there is strong evidence that some regional bases are being used to launch attacks against Iran.

He warned that countries hosting such bases share responsibility. According to him, any country helping in these actions could be seen as a partner in the conflict.

Call for Regional Cooperation

Iran said the main cause of the current crisis is the war started by the US and Israel. It added that these countries are using regional military bases to plan and carry out attacks.

The spokesman urged regional countries to act wisely. He asked them to follow international law and stop allowing their territory to be used for military actions against Iran.

Response to Regional Criticism

These comments came after a recent Arab-Islamic summit in Saudi Arabia. At the meeting, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan accused Iran of hostile actions.

Iran rejected the criticism and said its actions are a legal response to attacks on its territory.
