Iran Calls for International Action Against US-Israeli Crimes

Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has urged the international community to take action against US-Israeli crimes, warning that failure to act could expose many countries to similar atrocities.

Pezeshkian made the remarks in a post on X on Friday, marking the 21st day of what Iran calls illegal aggression by the United States and Israel. The attacks have deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure and energy facilities, resulting in hundreds of deaths.

He said, “The nature of the Zionist regime is state terrorism. Yet US aggression against Iran and the assassination of the martyred Leader sets a new precedent in international disputes that will destroy global legal norms.” He added, “If the world fails to stand firm, its flames will burn many.”

The US and Israel launched their unprovoked attacks on February 28, assassinating Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei along with senior military commanders, violating Iran’s sovereignty.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out missile and drone attacks against Israeli-occupied territories and US bases in regional countries. Iran emphasizes that these actions are part of its legitimate right to self-defense, following the principle of “eye for an eye.”
