Age Gap Debate in Lollywood: Saim Saqid Questions Humayun Saeed

Pakistan’s superstar Humayun Saeed has taken a respectful and light hearted stance on recent remarks by veteran actress Atiqa Odho, emphasizing admiration over controversy.

The controversy started Atiqa Odho, suggested that Fahad should now consider working with actresses closer to his own age, saying, “The time has come for him to work with girls of his own age, I mean women,” She said.

In a humorous exchange Fahad Mustafa alongside with Humayun Saeed in his live Jeeto Pakistan show joked that he would now only work opposite Atiqa Odho, teasing that she might need a few more “surgeries” before he could play the hero alongside her.

Lollywood superstar Humayun Saeed delivered his remark on Pakistan’s veteran actress Atiqa Odho on age gape controversary. In which Main Manto Nhi Hun actor highlighted that he has a deep respect for his senior artists, but there was always a noticeable age gap between him and Atiqa Odho, He recalled that during the drama Tum hi to ho, she was already an established star, while he was still relatively young in the industry.

More, Humayun Saeed added that Atiqa mentions in interviews that she once played his heroine, something he takes positively.

He noted, “It doesn’t feel bad to me,” even he also said about that Atiqa Odho and Nadia khan are like sisters to him.

Saim Sadiq who is a screenwriter and director of Lollywood industry, jumped in this controversy and addresses Humayun Saeed statement, and said “why is he trying to prove himself as young bacha to Atiqa Ohdo? Atiqa Ohdo is only 4 years older than him, Nadia Khan is one year older, yet he refers to them Bari behnien. By that measure Humyun is 22 years older than is last heroin Sajal Aly, she is possibly younger that Humayun’s daughter even. What should she be calling him then? Nana Jaan?
