Omer Shahzad & His Wife Faces Backlash Over Viral Umrah Clip

Pakistani television actor and former model Omer Shahzad and wife model and influencer Shanzay Lodhi recently got married, after marriage the couple first time went for Umrah together, and their Umrah videos went viral and faces under criticism from social media.

Last year in February, Omer and Shanzay got married in a simple and modest Nikkah ceremony in Makkah.

The video has flickered criticism on social media. While some social media users found it cute, but some other users expressed anger over their public display of affection at a sacred place.

Omer Shahzad and Shanzay Lodhi have shared a post condemning the unnecessary criticism of their pictures and also said that those clips were deliberately taken from the video and shared by magazine pages.

Shanzay Lodhi and Omer Shahzad wrote, “We’ve seen some of the comments on our Umrah video, and we just want to say this with clarity and respect. This video was simply a collection of our memories from Makkah, not just our Umrah but moments we shared during our time there. We are husband and wife, and there was nothing inappropriate or wrong in what we shared. We’ve also seen certain magazine pages criticizing us. The judgment and assumptions being made, including by certain magazine pages, are unnecessary and unfair, but we respectfully disagree with the narrative being created. If people spent less time judging others and more time focusing on their own lives, they probably wouldn’t have the time to come here and waste it on unnecessary criticism. If you don’t understand our intention, don’t question our characters. Khush rehna seekhen.”
