Karachi Intermediate Exams 2026 to Start on April 29

The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has officially announced the schedule for the 2026 intermediate annual examinations, according to reports.

Chairman Ghulam Hussain Lakho confirmed that the first phase of the exams will begin on April 29 across Karachi. The board has completed all necessary preparations to ensure a smooth examination process.

According to the chairman, admit cards for private candidates have already been sent to their home addresses. Students who have not yet received their admit cards are advised to visit the board office on April 27 with required documents, including fee receipts, registration cards, or matriculation mark sheets.

The board has finalized arrangements for Science groups, including Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering, as well as the General Group. Preparations have also been completed for Arts (Regular) and Home Economics candidates.

Officials stated that comprehensive measures have been taken to maintain transparency and organization throughout the examination process.

Earlier, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi revised the schedule for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams, which began on April 10. The exams were initially planned from April 7 to May 2 but were rescheduled due to challenges during the transition from a manual to a digital system.
