This mosque in Isfahan was built about 400 years ago; at that time, loudspeakers were not even a thing.

A special feature of this architectural masterpiece is that there is a place in this mosque where if you stand and give the call to prayer or pray loudly, its echo can be heard clearly throughout the vast and spacious mosque.
