Trump Open to Meeting Iranian Leadership, JD Vance Set to Arrive in Pakistan

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has expressed openness to engaging with Iran’s leadership if diplomatic progress is achieved. Speaking about the ongoing situation, Trump stated, “If Iranian leadership wants to meet, I have no objection.”

He further indicated that a potential breakthrough in upcoming negotiations could lead to a direct meeting with Iranian officials. “If there is a breakthrough, I would like to meet the Iranian leadership,” he said, signaling a possible shift toward direct diplomacy.

The US President also confirmed that negotiations between the United States and Iran are expected to take place soon. Addressing concerns about the talks failing, Trump dismissed skepticism and emphasized that discussions are being conducted seriously. “We are talking, and no one is playing games at this time,” he added.

Meanwhile, Trump revealed that a plane carrying US Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan within the next few hours, highlighting ongoing diplomatic engagements in the region.
