Iranian Foreign Minister to Meet PM Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad for Key Regional Diplomacy Talks

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed from Lahore to Islamabad, according to official sources, ahead of an important high-level diplomatic meeting with a delegation led by the Iranian Foreign Minister.

Sources confirm that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will hold discussions with a delegation headed by Iran’s Foreign Minister in Islamabad. The meeting will also be attended by Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and senior military leadership, highlighting the importance of the talks.

The discussions are expected to focus on regional diplomatic developments, including matters related to the second round of Iran–United States negotiations. Officials indicate that key geopolitical and diplomatic issues will be reviewed during the meeting.

During the visit, the Iranian Foreign Minister will also convey an important message from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

In addition, the Iranian Foreign Minister is scheduled to hold a separate meeting with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to further strengthen bilateral diplomatic coordination between the two countries.

The high-level engagement reflects ongoing efforts to enhance regional dialogue and cooperation between Pakistan and Iran amid evolving international diplomatic developments.
