Lahore Qalandars Eliminated as Hyderabad Kingsmen Dominate Pindiz in Crucial PSL 11 Clash

The Pakistan Super League saw a major turn of events as the Lahore Qalandars were eliminated following a dominant performance by the Hyderabad Kingsmen against the Rawalpindi-based side in a crucial qualifying match.

In a high-pressure encounter, the Kingsmen posted a strong total of 244 runs after a powerful batting display led by Glenn Maxwell’s explosive 70-run innings. Support came from Maaz Sadaqat (28), Usman Khan (54), and Kusal Perera (50), while Hassan Khan and Marnus Labuschagne contributed valuable runs to build momentum.

Maxwell’s innings included 8 boundaries and 3 sixes, setting a strong foundation for the team’s total. Despite losing early wickets, the Kingsmen maintained control throughout the innings and finished with a commanding score.

Earlier, the opposition had opted to bowl first after winning the toss, hoping to restrict Kingsmen and gain momentum. However, the decision backfired as the Kingsmen’s batting lineup delivered a solid performance.

Usman Khawaja stood out as the lone performer, scoring an unbeaten 66 off 43 balls with nine boundaries, but received little support from the rest of the lineup.

The chase ended in disappointment as the team was bowled out for just 136 runs in the 17th over. The Kingsmen’s disciplined bowling and sharp fielding ensured a comprehensive victory.

With this result, Lahore Qalandars were officially eliminated from the tournament, while Kingsmen strengthened their position in the crucial stage of Pakistan Super League.
