Buckingham Palace Provides Update As Royal Visit Begins

Buckingham palace shared an update via official Instagram handle of the Britain’s Monarch started their four-day state visit to the US. King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived in Washington.

This morning, the palace confirmed that the King and Queen are set to arrive in Washington, D.C. for a four-day state visit to the U.S.

This visit emphasizes a historic relationship between UK-US, the palace stated, “For decades, the Royal Family have made visits to the United States to honour the significance of the historic UK-US relationship.”

This Britain’s Monarch’s visit to the US is envisioned to emphasize the long-standing “special relationship” between the UK and the US at a time of political tension.

It also marks the 250th anniversary of American independence, with a series of high-level meetings, public engagements, and cultural events, the royal visit intends to showcase unity and stability between the two allies, despite recent tensions
