Govt announces drop in Jet Fuel, Kerosene rates

The government has changed petroleum prices in Pakistan, lowering some fuel rates and increasing others.

Jet fuel used in commercial airplanes has become cheaper by Rs7.76 per litre. Its new price is Rs388.58 per litre, down from Rs396.31.

Kerosene oil has also been reduced by Rs4.45 per litre. The new price of kerosene is Rs360.76 per litre instead of Rs365.21.

However, petrol and diesel prices have gone up. Petrol has increased by Rs6.51 per litre and now costs Rs399.86 per litre.

High-speed diesel has become more expensive by Rs19.39 per litre. Its new price is Rs399.58 per litre.

Light diesel has also increased by Rs17.03 per litre, taking the new price to Rs287.54 per litre.

The latest changes show that aviation and household fuels have become cheaper, while transport fuels have become more expensive.
