Gold prices drop in Pakistan – May 16, 2026: Check new rates

Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Saturday as the international market also saw a decline.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs600, reaching Rs476,262. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs515 to Rs408,317.

A day earlier, on Friday, the price of gold per tola had already fallen sharply by Rs15,500, bringing it down to Rs476,862.

In the international market, gold prices also went down by $6 per ounce, reaching $4,539 with a $20 premium.

Silver prices also followed the same trend, decreasing by Rs159 per tola to settle at Rs8,073.
