Pakistan Forces Kill 16 Terrorists in Bannu Operation

On Sunday, Pak Army, Police and CTD was carried out in the Miryan area of Bannu after reports about the presence of terrorists, after intelligence reports about the presence of militants.

During a joint operation, Pakistan’s security forces killed 16 khawarij terrorists in Bannu.

Security sources described the operation as difficult and intense terrorist hideouts, which were also destroyed during the raid.

Two key militant were martyred commander name Zamri Noor and Afghan national Abdullah Saeed.

Authorities said both were involved for spreading terror and unrest in the area.

Two police staffs Constable Waheedullah Khan and Constable Noorullah Khan were also martyred while serving their duties during operation.

Martyred policemen’s funeral prayers took place at Police Lines Bannu with official protocol and honors. Senior civil and military officials, tribal elders, and local residents attended the prayers in large numbers to pay tribute to the officers.

According to security sources, counterterrorism operations against militant groups were are continuing aggressively, stating that combined actions by law enforcement and security agencies will go on until militancy is wiped out from the area.
