Shahnaz Baloch’s family cuts all ties, rejects allegations
The family of Shahnaz Baloch from Turbat has announced a complete disassociation from her, according to a statement made at the Turbat Press Club.
Shahnaz Baloch is allegedly linked to an outlawed organization referred to in the report as a foreign-backed group operating in Balochistan. Her family members and close relatives stated that they have no connection with her activities or actions.
Her mother, Rukhsana, along with her grandfather and uncle, told reporters that Shahnaz Baloch moved to Oman at a young age and that the family has had no contact with her for nearly 12 years.
They also said that her father passed away when she was only nine months old, and the family had no knowledge of any involvement in militant or extremist activities.
Other relatives, including her uncle, further clarified that the family does not support or endorse any of her alleged actions or affiliations. They emphasized that they are peaceful citizens of Pakistan and have always respected the law and state institutions.
The family’s public disassociation highlights growing concern among local communities about militancy and unrest in the region.
