Israel Claims Control of Beaufort Castle Amid Lebanon Military Operations

As per Defense Minister Israel Katz statement, the Israeli army has seized the historic Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon declared this move a major planned accomplishment.

Israel Katz stated, Israeli troops crossed the Litani River and advanced further into Lebanese territory, during headed the Golani Brigade operation.

In a statement shared on Telegram by Israel Katz, the Israeli military intensified its operations in Lebanon under the direction of Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israel Katz emphasized, Israeli army apprehended Beaufort Ridge after passage the Litani River, which he acknowledges a noteworthy tactical point for defending the Galilee regions of northern Israel.

Defense minister further said that, earlier the operation kept under wraps but they are now being disclosed. According to him, that military operations are still underway and Israel will keep conducting operations to diminish Hezbollah’s strength and protect its northern border.

At this time, Lebanese officials have so far remained silent on the claims made by Israel.

The historic Beaufort Castle, located on a high vantage point, Litani River in Lebanon’s Nabatieh Governorate is considered an important site due to its historical and strategic significance.
