Fazila Qazi’s Strong Words for Iqrar Ul Hassan Go Viral

A well-known Pakistani television actress Fazila Qazi, recently she awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz. The actress became the center of online debate on social media after sharing after sharing a video message targeting former television host and journalist Iqrar Ul Hassan. Criticizing what she termed Iqrar’s obsession with the topic, the actress questioned his repeated comments and tone, urging the public to judge people fairly by considering both their strengths and weaknesses.

Fazila Qazi said, “Over social media, several videos of Iqrar Ul Hassan which I have seen made me speechless. I’m unable to figure out how I made such an error in recognizing someone. I believed he was doing everything with clean intents, that he unaffectedly wanted to help people. Every time he requested me to come his show, I went. But I was wrong about him. I made a huge mistake in recognizing Iqrar. I have become tired of listening to that person’s words. You are so obsessed with one individual. you are incredibly obsessed with Imran Khan.”

She added, “How is it possible for someone to be so obsessed with just one person? Imran Khan, that everything he talks about revolves around him? I do not belong to any political party. I may have differences with Imran Khan’s political stance, but at least acknowledge how significant a figure he is. He brought the World Cup to Pakistan and established a cancer hospital that provides free treatment. I know he is a great leader, though perhaps not a perfect politician because he can’t recognize people’s true faces. I think I would be the same as a politician because I am also weak at judging people. But I feel sad for you. You need treatment. The way you were constantly shouting, making personal attacks, and speaking aggressively against him and one good day you apologized, it’s not the right behaviour. I think you need professional help. If you have differences with someone, discuss them respectfully with your three wives at your home instead of indulging in online verbal abuse. Your shouting is not helping anyone. You have a son—have you ever thought about how people may treat him because of your harsh language? I made a mistake by appearing on your shows.”

She further added, “I think anyone who has done anything good for Pakistan ends up in jail. Imran Khan is in jail, and that girl Iman Mazari has also been imprisoned. Please do not bad-mouth people even if you disagree with them.” Watch the full video here:
