Hundreds of Terrorists, Spies and Saboteurs Arrested during US-Israeli Aggression on Iran

The Iranian intelligence ministry says it has carried out successful anti-terrorism, espionage and sabotage operations in the country during the 39-day US-Israeli aggression that came to a halt with a ceasefire in early April.
The ministry said in a Sunday statement that it had arrested four terrorists, one spy and dozens of members of sabotage networks seeking to foment riots on the streets during the days of the aggression on Iran.
It said the operations had taken place in three provinces, including in the province of Tehran, where the capital is located.
The statement said a spy directly reporting to an agent of the Israeli intelligence service based in London was arrested in the province of Ilam, located on the western border with Iraq.
The spy was planning to penetrate key government institutions and transfer sensitive information about the whereabouts of senior officials, it said.
