Iran Can Respond with Same Force If Enemy Breaks Promise says Judiciary chief

Iran’s Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei on Tuesday said the country remains prepared to continue its fight if the United States and Israel fail to uphold commitments under a newly announced agreement aimed at ending hostilities.
Speaking to judges and judicial staff in Tehran, Mohseni Ejei said Iran had agreed to a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Washington to halt what he described as “aggression,” but stressed that Iranian authorities would remain on high alert.
He warned that Iran would respond “decisively” to any violations of the agreement, saying the country does not trust its adversaries.
“This treacherous, villainous, and criminal enemy cannot be trusted under any circumstances; we must be vigilant, and we are,” he said, adding that Iran’s leadership fully understands the nature of its opponents.
