Pakistan Interior Minister Arrives in Tehran for Talks on Iran-US Negotiations

Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, departed from Islamabad for Tehran on Saturday to hold meetings with senior Iranian officials, according to a report by media sources. The discussions are expected to focus on the progress of negotiations between Iran and the United States.
The visit marks Naqvi’s latest trip to Tehran since Pakistan launched mediation efforts aimed at easing tensions between Iran and the United States. During his previous visit on June 7, he met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni to discuss regional developments and diplomatic initiatives.
Pakistan has continued to play an active diplomatic role in facilitating dialogue between Tehran and Washington. Since a reported ceasefire took effect in April, Pakistani officials have maintained regular contacts with both sides in an effort to support negotiations and encourage a lasting agreement aimed at reducing tensions and promoting regional stability.
