IRGC Claims Large-Scale Missile and Drone Strikes on US Military Bases in Gulf

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said it launched a large-scale missile and drone operation targeting eight US military installations across the Gulf region, describing the attacks as a “decisive response” to what it called renewed American aggression against Iranian territory. In a statement, the IRGC said the operation was carried out jointly by its Navy and Aerospace Force between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. local time on Sunday, targeting sites including Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait and the US Fifth Fleet headquarters at Salman Port in Bahrain.
According to the IRGC, the strikes involved ballistic missiles and drones and resulted in the destruction of the targeted facilities. The group said the operation came after what it described as US attacks on five Iranian coastal outposts earlier in the day, which it said were carried out under the pretext of responding to an incident involving an alleged trespassing vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.
The IRGC’s claims to have hit the US Military bases is largely discussed over social media as a dent to US supremacy and era of Invasions in the World.
