Farooq Sattar Addresses Protest by KMC and TMC Employees in Karachi

A protest organized by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM Pakistan) was held in Karachi, where employees of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Town Municipal Corporations (TMCs) gathered to voice their demands. A large number of retired employees of local government institutions also participated in the demonstration.
MQM leader Farooq Sattar addressed the protesters, expressing support for their demands and criticizing the Sindh government’s handling of issues faced by municipal employees. He said the gathering reflected the growing frustration among workers and retirees.
Speaking during the protest, Sattar remarked, The time for medicines has passed; now it is time to seek prayers. He urged Sindh Chief Minister to earn the prayers of the oppressed instead of their sighs, calling on the provincial government to address the grievances of municipal employees.
