Houthi Leader Accuses Israel of Driving Regional Conflicts

Yemen’s Ansarallah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has accused Israel of being the driving force behind conflicts across West Asia, claiming that what he described as the “Zionist project” seeks to reshape the region in pursuit of a “Greater Israel.”

Speaking in a televised address on Thursday, al-Houthi said the Islamic world is confronting what he called “the most oppressive oppressors in history,” referring to Israel and its supporters. He alleged that Israeli policies, backed by international allies, are responsible for instability and conflict throughout the region.

Al-Houthi also criticized the United States and Israel, accusing them of pursuing policies that undermine international stability through wars and the exploitation of nations’ resources. He cited the Palestinian issue and other regional conflicts as examples, reiterating his claim that efforts to reshape the Middle East are linked to broader geopolitical objectives.
