Trump Says Iran Wants Talks, but US Is No Longer Interested

US President Donald Trump has said that American forces will soon carry out heavy strikes on an alleged underground nuclear facility in Iran.

Trump claimed that the site, known as “Pick X Mountain,” is a major underground nuclear facility where Iran is suspected of conducting undeclared uranium enrichment activities. He said US forces would soon target the entire area.

The US president also claimed that Iranian officials are eager to meet and negotiate with Washington. However, he said the US is not interested in talks unless there is meaningful progress.

Trump stressed that Iran must never be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons and said the US has fully restored its naval blockade.

He added that US forces are severely weakening Iran’s military capabilities and that it could take years for the country to rebuild.

Trump said the mission is not yet complete and that US attacks on Iran will continue, with American forces remaining in the region.
