New MDCAT 2026 Test Date Announced After Postponement

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has postponed the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) from August 16 to September 20, 2026, on the directions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

PM&DC said the new date will help ensure the exam is held in a smooth, secure and transparent manner while making it easier for all candidates to take the test.

The council added that all other exam arrangements, terms and conditions will remain the same unless any new announcement is made.

Candidates have been advised to regularly visit the official PM&DC website and its communication channels for the latest updates and instructions.

PM&DC also apologized for any inconvenience caused by the postponement and thanked students, parents and educational institutions for their patience and cooperation.
