Iran Vows to Strengthen Defense Capabilities Amid Continued US-Israeli Hostility

Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Chief Commander Major General Ahmad Vahidi has stressed that Iran must continue strengthening its defensive and offensive capabilities, warning that the country’s enemies will not abandon their hostility and conspiracies against the Iranian nation.

In a message issued on Friday to mark National Defense Industry Day, Vahidi said recent regional developments, particularly the two latest rounds of what he described as unprovoked US-Israeli aggression against Iran, demonstrate that Tehran’s adversaries remain committed to their hostile policies and schemes.

He said the contemporary battlefield has witnessed new forms of “hybrid and military aggression,” accompanied by what he described as crimes against humanity. Vahidi emphasized that these developments require Iran to remain prepared to confront emerging threats.

Against the backdrop of continued American and Israeli hostility, the IRGC commander said Iran would pursue the production and development of defense and military equipment with greater strength, prudence, speed and strategic wisdom.
