Iran Will Not Surrender, Enemy Will Never Achieve Its Objectives: Iranian Chief of Staff

Iranian Chief of Staff Major General Ali Abdollahi has vowed that Iran will not surrender, saying the country’s enemies will never succeed in achieving their objectives against the Islamic Republic. He said the United States was seeking to compensate for its military defeats through economic pressure, while the enemy was waging both an economic and psychological war against Iran.

Major General Abdollahi said confronting the realities of war and overcoming intense military pressure was a major challenge, but stressed that the United States and Israel would face another defeat in their confrontation with Iran. He warned that the enemy would only add to what he described as its humiliating setbacks, asserting that a nation that places its trust in God would ultimately prevail on the battlefield. He added that Iran had presented a new model of resistance to the world.

Speaking in Tehran, the Iranian military commander also predicted the eventual decline of the United States, saying its downfall was inevitable. He emphasized that Iran’s continued resistance, national resolve and reliance on its own capabilities would enable the country to withstand military, economic and psychological pressure and prevent its adversaries from achieving their goals.
